How to skip the front-desk paperwork by checking in from your phone the night before.

Most clinics let you check in the day before — it shaves five to ten minutes off your visit.
When check-in opens
Twenty-four hours before your appointment. You will get a text and email with a link, or open My appointments and tap Check in. The link is single-use and tied to that one appointment, so a partner or family member who picks up your phone cannot accidentally check in to a different patient.

Front desk sees a green check next to your name on tomorrow’s day sheet - walk straight back when you arrive
You will be asked to confirm your demographics, insurance, and pharmacy, then complete any visit-specific intake forms. Everything saves as you go — close the tab and resume on another device if you run out of time, and your progress restores from where you left off. Branching forms only ask the follow-up questions you actually need based on your earlier answers.
Arriving at the visit
When you check in online, the front desk sees a green check next to your name on the day sheet — no clipboard, no re-typing your insurance card. For in-person visits, walk straight back when you arrive (or text the front desk you are here, if your clinic uses that). For telehealth, the Join visit button activates ten minutes before your scheduled time on the same screen.
