You can request a visit any time without calling the office. Here is how it works, including what happens after you submit a request.
Find an open slot
TelehealthTue · Apr 23
Greyed slots are full or held for follow-ups only. The chosen slot highlights in primary.
Open Book in your portal. Pick the visit type (in-person, telehealth, intake) — only providers offering that visit appear. Use the location and provider filters to narrow further. The grid shows the next two weeks at a glance; greyed-out slots are full or held for established patients only, and the chip in the top right confirms your insurance is in-network for the provider you selected.
Request the appointment
Tap a slot. Add a short reason for visit (this helps your provider prepare and is private to your care team). Submit. If the visit type requires a co-pay or a card on file, you will see that on this screen — never as a surprise after you book.
